About


This online, on-demand Pharmacy Technician (ASHP/ACPE) training program is taught using images, videos, simulations, and interactive games to assist with learning the material and developing the necessary skills. The program's focus is on helping students gain the skills needed to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Exam and start working upon graduation. This program includes 400 hours of online curriculum and is designed to be completed in about six months of full-time study.

Employment Outlook


The pharmacy technician field is a part of the growing healthcare industry, and the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the field will grow by 9%, or over 35,000 new jobs, before 2024.

 

The 2019 median pay was $33,950 per year.
